Watsonville Taiko is a non-profit Japanese drumming group under the direction of Ikuyo Conant.ï¿½ This year, the group celebrates its 20^th anniversary with the performance, Valley of East and West.ï¿½ The sound of the Taiko is the heart beat.ï¿½ It is the sound of life, and it resonates inside the body.ï¿½ï¿½ This year, this powerful forcing energetic sound will blend with the harmonious sound of Cabrillo Chorus (Director Cheryl Anderson).ï¿½ Betweenï¿½ heaven and earth, the magic of human energy will fill the Crocker Theater at Cabrillo College.ï¿½ Also joining this celebration are Shinsho-Mugen Daiko in Monterey and Sandoshin Taiko in Morgan Hill.

Two shows,Oct. 8 at 7:30pm and Oct. 9 at 2:00pm.
