Holiday Tea & Japan Culture Day.  Join us for our annual holiday celebration! This year, we will have 3 tea ceremonies, martial arts demonstrations, music and a sale of Japanese cultural arts, such as kimono and dolls. We will be selling Japanese sweets from Fugetsu-Do, so don’t forget to bring your picnic for a family-fun day in the Friendship Garden!

Tea Ceremonies Rquire Reservations - Click HERE
Join us to experience a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony, known as Chanoyu or Chado. Practiced in the Urasenke School of Tea style, you will get to experience the ceremony, learn about its meaning and history, and enjoy a bowl of matcha tea and a traditional sweet treat.

RSVP by Dec. 9th for the Tea Ceremonies! Seating is limited with social distancing and masks inside the Teahouse required. If the ceremonies are sold out, you may email [email protected] to be put on a waitlist; however, as the ceremonies are popular, it is recommended that you come to the Holiday Festival and check in at the door in case of no-shows, with cash or Paypal available to purchase a ticket on site.
