Celebrate “Gathering of Joy” at the 2025 Obon Festival. Family and community are invited to celebrate Obon, the Buddhist holiday dedicated to expressing joy and gratitude for the gifts of life, heritage, and those we have taken for granted or forgotten.
We dance out of sheer gratitude for the contributions of people who made life as we know it.
Free admission. Public welcome.

Join us to learn or refresh your Bon dance skills.
Practice sessions will be held at the Buddhist Temple of San Diego Annex Building.
Wednesdays at 7:00 pm: July 9, 16, 23, 30
Sundays at 11:00 am: July 6, 13, 20, 27
Note: No practice on Wednesday, July 3
