Go For Broke National Education Center’s Evening of Aloha is the largest annual fundraising gala celebrating the courage, patriotism, and sacrifice of Japanese American soldiers of WWII. The evening features an elegant dinner, live entertainment including hula dancers and musicians, a silent auction, and inspiring tributes to Nisei veterans and their families.

Details
This hallmark annual event brings together community members to honor the Go For Broke spirit and the 33,000 Japanese American men and women who served in WWII. Highlights include the Soldier’s Memorial Table, on-stage veteran recognition, the Living Nisei WWII Veteran Photo Tribute, and a special dinner menu created by renowned Chef Roy Yamaguchi and Chef Andreas Nieto. Proceeds support GFBNEC’s educational programming, outreach, and preservation efforts.
