Join us for the 88th annual Obon Festival at the Salt Lake Buddhist Temple, celebrating a tradition that began in 1936. This event is rooted in Japanese customs honoring ancestors through dance, cultural offerings, and communal activities. Admission is free, and parking is available at the Salt Palace Convention Center entrance on 300 West, just north of 100 South.

The Obon Festival is the largest Temple event of the year, typically held on the second Saturday of July. It offers a rich array of food, entertainment, and cultural experiences for all attendees.
