The Annual Japanese Obon Festival Event featuring Japanese food, games, dancing, and performances by Spokane Taiko along with Obon Odori, music & crafts, exhibits of traditional Japanese art, and more.

The Spokane Buddhist Temple will be reviving its annual Obon Festival. Similar to other temples, this event is a major Buddhist Holiday honoring our past ancestors by hosting a bazaar type event. Demonstrations will also be held on the stage. The highlight of the event is the Bon Odori or Bon Dancing to be held on the green.

If you are interested in volunteering at the event. We will have sign up sheets at the temple.

Come dance with us.  All ages welcome.
