On the Day of Remembrance, we honor the experiences and memories of Japanese American communities affected by the World War II incarceration and its legacy, and reflect on lessons that this grave injustice holds for us today.

On February 18, museum admission is free in commemoration of Day of Remembrance. Tours will be offered at 2 pm in English and Japanese, and a selection of archival materials from Isamu Noguchi’s voluntary incarceration in the Poston War Relocation Center in Arizona will be on view in the Education studio.
