The Closing Ceremony and Street Ondo Festival on Sunday, August 17, 2025. This year’s Ondo will be a historic first - featuring 100% live singers and musicians. Dancers from temples across the region will come together in Little Tokyo for this joyful community celebration, marking the finale of the summer Obon season. The evening begins with traditional Nisei Week dances and closes with a reimagined set of new and familiar choreography - a powerful tribute to spirit, culture, and community. A beautiful event to participate in or simply enjoy as a spectator.
