Emcee/Performer Miyuki Matsunaga
Performances by Matsutoyo Kai & Minyo Station....

Miyuki Matsunaga is a Japanese actress in Los Angeles who also dances, sings, does voiceover and emcee, teach yoga and pilates, and directs for the stage. She is also a performance artist with her own Japanese dance style called GETA DANCE, which blends elements of traditional Japanese dance, modern dance, and her original haiku poetry. �

Matsutoyo Kai � performances passes on the Traditional Music of Japan and leaves a Japanese Music Legacy giving performances in Japanese Folk and Classical Music led by Artistic Director and founder Matsutoyo Sato.� Part of their purpose is to provide instruction in singing, shamisen, taiko and ka-ne.

Minyo Station � "The Direction of the Wind" � Japanese Folk Music, as envisioned by Music Director and lead guitarist, Yu Ooka.� They are in the forefront of a movement to infuse a New Sound into traditional Japanese Folk Music as interpreted by a new generation of artists � a multi-cultural twist that melds Western elements of rock, R&B and jazz with the melodies and structure of Minyo compositions passed down for generation through many village sof Japan.
