U-PICK & PLANT!  Strawberries!!
Enjoy some outside time while picking your own carrots and planting your own strawberries!

Enjoy some outside time with members of your household!* Come on out to the farm for a U-Pick & Plant adventure that includes a wagon ride around the farm, lead by one of our friendly tour guides. You will learn about Tanaka Farms and its history, farming methods, and the crops we grow. You will make a stop in the Carrot Patch to pick your own carrots, a stop along Sugar Cane Lane to get a fresh piece of sugarcane, then be whisked to the top of our hill where you will learn how to plant your very own Strawberry Plant! Finish off the tour with a scenic walk down the hill.

Choose your departure time when registering. Make sure you choose how many people in your party. If you do not register someone they will not be able to attend.

$20 per person (Children 2 years and under are FREE but do not receive carrots, sugarcane, or reusable bag or strawberry plant.)

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. It is very important that you arrive ON TIME so you do not miss your wagon. Due to the current pandemic we are limited to only a certain amount of people per departure time. Unfortunately, if you miss your departure, you will NOT be able to join the next wagon.

Follow signs to Pick Your Own Strawberry Parking, then walk to Strawberry Picking entrance signs. Check in at the tent, and a friendly tour guide will get you loaded onto the wagon! Afterwards follow the exit signs back to the parking lot. Then, if you choose, you may go through the Drive-Thru Produce Market Stand to purchase other Tanaka Farms items. With your admission you will receive a sticker that is good for $2 off or a free Tanaka Farms reusable bag with a $15 purchase.

U-Pick Around the Farm Rules:
Please bring your own masks. All persons 3 years and over are required to wear a mask.

Social Distancing rules apply. Please keep 6' away from other guests.

No eating while in the field (Due to CDFA regulations for "You-Pick" operations)

If you touch it, please pick it. Please look carefully before you pick.

Additional Covid-19 Steps We are Taking to Ensure a Safe Visit:

In keeping with CDC guidelines, and for the safety of our employees, we ask that you please wear a cloth face covering, or mask, when visiting the farm. Our team will also be wearing masks to protect you.

Hand Sanitizer is available at several locations, including at Check-In and on the wagons.

We will provide single use containers (bags/boxes) for you to place your picked items in for safety.

In keeping with California State Mandates, and for the safety of our employees, we ask that you please wear a cloth face covering, or mask, when visiting the farm. Our team will also be wearing masks and/or face shields to protect you.

Disclaimer: In the event of bad weather, unforseen crop loss, new regulations due to Covid-19, or in any event we have to cancel, we will send you an email and refund your money as soon as possible.
