Join us for a fun and entertaining look back at ten years of Grateful Crane.

For the past ten years, the Grateful Crane Ensemble, a non-profit theater group based in Los Angeles, has been presenting educational and theatrical programs in appreciation for the unique hardships and inspiring contributions of Japanese Americans in our country's history. Grateful Crane shows such as The Camp Dance: The Music & The Memories and Nihonmachi: The Place to Be have told our stories, and featured popular Japanese and American songs such as "Koko ni Sachi Ari," "Ue o Muite Arukou," "Kawa no Nagare no Youni," "Stardust," "Moonlight Serenade" and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy." Each of these songs and more will be presented in "The Best of Grateful Crane" show.

Sponsored by Grateful Crane Ensemble, Hiroshi & Sadako Kashiwagi, Tak & Terry Kosakura, Naomi Suenaka, Tomiye Sumner, FIA Insurance Services, Fukui Mortuary, Hiroshi F. Kashiwagi, Soji & Keiko Kashiwagi, Masayo Nishikawa and the Orange County Buddhist Church.

Donation: $50.00. 100% of ticket proceeds will benefit the Northern Japan Earthquake Relief Fund, which has raised nearly $1.6 million for non-profit and community service organizations in Japan that have been providing citizen relief efforts for those most in need.

Featuring the Grateful Crane Ensemble Singers: Jason Fong, Haruye Ioka, Keiko Kawashima, Darrell Kunitomi, Kurt Kuniyoshi, Aimee Machida, Merv Maruyama, Mary Kageyama Nomura, Helen H. Ota, Fusako Shiotani. Youth Singers: Aimee Machida,
