The Minidoka Pilgrimage is an annual event that honors the history and legacy of Japanese Americans incarcerated during World War II at the Minidoka War Relocation Center in Idaho. This gathering provides an opportunity for survivors, descendants, and the broader community to reflect, educate, and connect over this significant chapter in American history.

Dates and Times
The 2025 Minidoka Pilgrimage is scheduled for July 11-13, 2025. The itinerary includes:

Schedule
July 11: Stamping of the Ireichō (a sacred book of names) at the Fine Arts Building at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls.
July 12: Activities at the Minidoka National Historic Site in Jerome, Idaho, including further stamping sessions.
July 13: A ceremony at the Minidoka National Historic Site, followed by additional stamping opportunities.

Japanese American National Museum
The pilgrimage will feature educational programs, guided tours of the historic site, and community discussions. Participants will have the chance to engage deeply with the history of Minidoka and honor those who were incarcerated there. The inclusion of the Ireichō allows attendees to participate in a meaningful act of remembrance by stamping the names of those who were unjustly imprisoned.
