Bring the whole family to this year's celebration of the traditional Japaneseï¿½Tanabataï¿½festival.ï¿½Take part in traditional Tanabata customs like foldingï¿½origami paper ornaments and writing wishes on colorful strips of paper calledï¿½tanzaku.

Enjoyï¿½Kamishibaiï¿½storytelling with longtime friend of the Garden Michiko Kornhauser and the music of Tokyo-born guitarist Toshi Onizuka.
