2016 DTLA / Little Tokyo Cultural Exchange Community Open House Dinner and ConcertNEW

Centenary UMC will present a concert featuring the Ohio Northern University National Tour Choir on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at 7:30 p.m.   At 6:00 p.m. before the concert, Centenary will be hosting a Community Cultural Exchange Dinner.  Dinner will be a good old fashion "potluck" but guest are asked to only bring themselves (please do not bring food.)  Dinner will be prepared by Centenary members and is FREE for all to enjoy.  Please come early for dinner and several Japanese Cultural Performances.  Before the ONU Choir gift's DTLA / Little Tokyo with the concert, Centenary will gift the ONU Choir and the Community with Taiko Drumming, a Karate Demonstration, Japanese Minyo Folk Dance Performance and much more.   The event is free and open to the public.  Be a part of this cultural exchange.  Bring the entire family for good food, culture, community and great music. A freewill love offering for the touring group will be taken. The Ohio Northern National Tour Choir is on a 43-day concert tour to 26 states during May and June 2016. The choir consists of members of the ONU University Singers, the top choral ensemble at ONU, which tours annually.
