This is a unique fundraising event to support a select group of farmers in Japan that are still suffering from the devasting earthquake/tsunami on March 11, 2011. We also are sending support to farmers in Central California, through the Nisei Farmers League, that are dealing with the effects fo the current drought.

The event is a one and one-half mile walk around Tanaka's beautiful Farm in Irvine. Along the route there will be several sponsor tents providing samples of fresh locally grown produce. This event, although fun and educational in nature, has a much deeper meaning. We are asking you to come out not only to enjoy a few hours on the farm but also to show your support and lend a helping hand to some of the earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan amd farmers in central California.
