"A Prodigal Christmas" is an original, homegrown, holiday musical written by David Cheng and Susie Shelley, with original songs composed by David Cheng. �A dysfunctional Japanese American family in 1967 must rely upon their faith as they deal with issues surrounding the Vietnam War, the generation gap, and racial attitudes. �Admission is free and the musical is appropriate for all ages.

Performances are scheduled for Friday, December 2, 2011 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 West 158th Street, Gardena California. �Call (310) 323-5683 or email [email protected]. �Check us out at facebook.com/prodigalchristmas.
