The American Society of Hiroshima-Nagasaki A-Bomb Survivors (ASA) is hosting the 66th Commemorative Service of Hiroshima-Nagasaki A-Bomb Victims at Koyasan Buddhist Temple.

A commemorative service was recently held in Little Tokyo to honor the victims and survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The event took place at a Buddhist temple that houses a symbolic peace flame and brought together religious leaders, community representatives, and the public. The program featured traditional rituals, messages from Japanese city officials, and a post-service discussion on peace.

The keynote speaker was a Hiroshima survivor who shared his childhood experience during the bombing, describing the devastation, loss, and long-term effects on his family. He emphasized the importance of remembering these events and working toward the elimination of nuclear weapons to protect future generations.
