Growing up in Japan, Shigetoshi Hasegawa was not the most talented pitcher on his high
school baseball team. But he pitched for the Angels and Mariners. Sansei Scott Akasaki
wanted to work for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He became the youngest person to work
as a traveling secretary for a National League team. Learn how they overcame the odds
to succeed in baseball in this presentation organized as part of the Tateuchi Foundation
Public Program series.
