Join us for an evening of origami, onigiri, and of course, Dovetail beer with expert paper folding instruction by Ty Yamamoto of the Japanese Culture Center, who’s their in-house origami teacher. Here’s your chance to try a new craft, expand on your knowledge, or just relax!

Your ticket gets you:
• All paper supplies and 2 hours of hands-on instruction from Yamamoto Sensei
• Your choice of onigiri (Japanese rice ball) from Onigiri KORORIN (please make a selection with your ticket)
• One half-liter pour of Dovetail beer of your choice to loosen up those folding fingers, and 15% off the rest of your tab, including to-go beers!

Ty Yamamoto is a Chicago-based filmmaker, photographer and Japanese teacher with a passion for the art of folding paper. Ever since childhood, Ty has loved folding all sorts of intricate paper creations. Over the past year, Ty has taught origami lessons to people of all ages, bringing the traditional Japanese art form to households all over the world.
