New York Buddhist Church will welcome all to the Aki Matsuri Fall Festival.  This is a free festival event that commemorates the 85th anniversary of the establishment of NYBC. The festival will begin at 11:00 am, with Japanese performances, demonstrations, and food and craft sales continuing until 3:30 pm. Performances and activities include Taiko drumming by Soh Daiko, screening of Japanese silent films, Kamishibai children's storytelling, flower arrangement demonstration, an interactive walking meditation around an original paper mandala, and the sale of Japanese crafts and food items. Original artwork by NY based artists inspired by the words, "Compassion, Respect and Gratitude" will be on sale.

All are welcome.
