Yayoi Kusama’s beloved LOVE IS CALLING reopens to the public on October 16 as part of the exhibition The Worlds We Make: Selections from the ICA Collection. This immersive, vividly colored Infinity Mirror Room surrounds visitors with tentacle-like inflatable sculptures covered with the artist’s signature polka dots. The dark, mirrored room creates an illusion of infinite space and includes a haunting sound recording of Kusama reciting a love poem in Japanese.
A special ticket is required for admission to LOVE IS CALLING; these tickets include regular museum admission as well.
