2024 Nisei Week Baby Show Event - SFVJACC (Special Family Event During the Nisei Week Showcasing Japanese-American Heritage) NEW

The Nisei Week Baby Show is a special family event held during the Nisei Week Festival. This event takes place at SFVJACC. The Baby Show is an opportunity for families with young children to participate in a fun and competitive showcase celebrating Japanese-American heritage.

Categories
• Tiny Tots: 1 year to 23 months old
• Romper Stompers: 2 to 3 years old
• Jet Setters: 4 to 6 years and 1 month old

Check-in and Judging Times
• Tiny Tots: Check-in at 9 a.m., Judging at 10 a.m.
• Romper Stompers: Check-in at 11 a.m., Judging at 12 p.m.
• Jet Setters: Check-in at 1 p.m., Judging at 2 p.m.

Price
$60 per pre-entry, $65 for walk-in registration
Eligibility: Entrants must be of at least one-quarter Japanese ancestry.

Prizes for Each Division
Prince and Princess will receive a crown, trophy, sash, and special prizes.

Judges
Panel of leaders from the Japanese American community.

Additional Award Category: Most Photogenic Contest (pre-registration required).
Pictures from the Most Photogenic Contest will be returned to participants on the day of the Baby Show.

Special Opportunity
Prince and Princess in each division get to ride on the Choo Choo Train during the 81st Nisei Week Grand Parade on Sunday, Aug. 13.

Toyo Miyatake Studio will be available all day to take photos of the children.
