Okinawan American artists visit the Okinawa Association of America (OAA)- To promote their art exhibition at theJapanese American National Museum (JANM), artists Laura Kina and Emily Hanako Momohara will be visiting our Uchinaaguchi Class! They will discuss their exhibition and reconnecting with their Okinawan roots. They will also be selling and signing copies of their art book, which features their original works from the JANM exhibition and essays from scholars.
