If you haven't heard the taiko drums before, this is your chance!� Various local groups have come together to give you a sampling of Southern California's drum beat at our outdoor venue on a farm in Irvine!

We will be featuring the following groups:�

* �Yuujou Daiko, led by OCO member Judi Kaminishi. Their latest performance was at the�Staple Center's JA Community Night�during the Clippers game.

* �Hikari Taiko�is from the Southeast Japanese Community Center Norwalk and was founded by Tak Murata. Mary Jane Maeda is the head instructor and the executive director

*�Jodaiko�taiko group is comprised of and run by �students at UCI. Current executive director is Caress Mauhili.�Click here for their promo video.�

*�Senryu Taiko�group is another college group run by the students from UCR. They not only dedicate themselves to the performance aspect but to the entire process. They even build their own drums!�Check out their video.�

*�Daion Taiko�group (pending) from the Orange County Buddhist Church is one of the oldest and largest taiko groups in the United States comprised of performers as young as 10 years old and as old as 60.�Click here to view their performance at Dodger Stadium.�Hoping that they can fit this event into their busy schedule!!
