Part of ArtSLAM/Thursdays@Newhall. Discover the beauty and grace of Japanese folk dances with Christine Inouye. Seize the moment and try your hand at these celebratory bon dances, set to ondo music by Japanese folk fusion ensemble Minyo Station.�Japanese folk dance portrays the regional features of Japan through movement and folk songs. Occupations, celebrations, and legends of Japan are all represented through these ancient and traditional dances

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. JAM Sessions are participatory and centered around movement and music. All JAMs are FREE, and all ages and skill levels are welcome.

Come early for art galleries, food trucks, a beer garden and community booths! ArtSLAM starts at 6:00 PM.The Jam Session will take place from 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm.
