For those in need, Centenary will be collecting any canned food items to support the Imani Unidos Food Pantry. The Imani Unidos Food Pantry, based out of our sister church FaithUnitedMethodistChurch in South Los Angeles, provides groceries to HIV/AIDS patients as well as to low-income families. The food pantry is open three days a week and provides approximately 350 bags of groceries per month. Please feel free in dropping off canned goods before, on or after Saturday December 6th, the food pantry is in need of goods throughout the year. Please donate and help those in need during this holiday season. Drop off canned goods at Centenary on any Sunday between the hours of 10 am and 1:30 pm or on Saturday December 6th between 8 am and 2 pm.

FREE Curry Rice Lunch - Little Tokyo Peace and Goodwill Fair - 11 am to 1 pm

Centenary's Free Curry and Rice Community Lunch Fellowship, Christmas Craft booth and Mottainai Ondo Flash Mob. Anyone who comes to Centenary on Saturday December 6th between 11:00 am and 1 pm will be treated to a curry and rice lunch. Centenary UMC just wants to thank everyone in the community who share's in the spirit of "helping others to help others" with a lunch time fellowship. This is Centenary's opportunity to thank their community partners and to share in community fellowship. During this lunch fellowship a FREE Christmas Craft Booth that children and adults can make Christmas hand crafts before or after they have lunch will be available for all to enjoy. At 1:15 pm we will attempt an Ondo Flash Mob starting with "Mottainai" so bring your tenugui. No dance experience or practice necessary for the Flash Mob. Come to dance or come to watch we guarantee it will be a lot of fun We have left little reason not to be at Centenary on Saturday Decembers 6, 2014 between 8 am and 2 pm. Centenary's Little Tokyo Peace and Goodwill Fair will help others help others and at the same time help us as individuals share in the spirit of peace and goodwill. Please spread the word, share with family and friends. Hope to see everyone at Centenary on Saturday December 6th.
