September 16 � 18, the Portland Ikebana Chapter will celebrate their 50th Anniversary with a Special Exhibit in the Japanese Garden Pavilion. �Arrangements representing five major schools of Ikebana including Ikenobo, Ohara, Ryusei-ha, Saga Goryu, and Sogetsu school will be on view, including an arrangement by visiting Japanese Master Tetsunori Kawana of the Sogetsu School, an arrangement honoring the Chapter Founder, Mildred Schnitzer and arrangements by many past presidents and master teachers.
