The West Covina Buddhist Temple Obon Festival will be held on June 25 from 2 - 9PM at the East San Gabriel Japanese Community Center, 1203 W. Puente Ave in West Covina, CA.

Delicious traditional foods of chicken teriyaki, sushi, somen, gyoza as well as our popular chow mein, asian chicken salads, tamales, shave ice and delicious desserts. Farmers Market of fresh produce and fun games for kids of all ages.

Exhibits of bonsai, ceramics, kimekomi dolls and more. Some asian inspired crafts will be available for sale. Martial arts demonstrations andtraditional Japanese dance and taiko performances throughout the day.

The Obon dance will begin at 7:30 and everyone is invited to join in for the fun!

The practices will be every Tuesday and Friday in June (except for June 24) from 7:00 PM at the East San Gabriel Japanese Community Center (ESGVCC). Everyone is invited to come!
