Registration for the 2011 Taiko Conference at Stanford University will open March 15. We've been busily implementing a number of suggested changes in a complete re-design of taikoconference.org and I think you're going to like the new site!

We're still waiting on some final figures, but we have the following estimates of this year's Conference costs.

(Note: these figures are subject to change)

  • Summer Taiko Institute Tuition est. $450
  • Participant Registration est. $275 (Taiko Jam ticket included)
  • Youth Program Registration est. $275 (Taiko Jam ticket included)
  • Observer Registration est. $100 (Taiko Jam ticket included)

This year's Conference will be held on beautiful Stanford University campus and we have reserved a dormitory which provides an on-campus meal plan. We are designing the dormitory experience to be an enriching part of the Conference experience, with exciting and fun ways to interact with new and master taiko players alike! The three-night package (August 18, 19, and 20) will have you well rested and well fed for the entirety of Conference!

(Note: these figures are subject to change)

  • Single Occupancy est. $400 for 3 nights
  • Double Occupancy (shared room) est. $340 for 3 nights

Final numbers and more detailed information will be posted here on March 15. In the meantime, don't hesitate to email us with questions.

We're getting close to having the foundation set for a fantastic Conference! Thank you all for of your energy and enthusiasm!
