Join your friends in the Japanese and Japanese American community for Nichi Bei Days with the A’s as the Athletics take on Japanese superstar Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Dodgers from Friday, August 2 through Sunday, August. 4, 2024 at the Oakland Coliseum.

Join hundreds in the community cheering on the home team and reigning American League MVP Ohtani in a rare appearance by his new team, the Dodgers.

A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit the Nichi Bei Foundation, publishers of the Nichi Bei News Japanese American community newspaper and presenter of various educational programs and events.

The longest-running fundraiser of the Nichi Bei Foundation, Nichi Bei Day with the A’s, launched in 2010, helps to promote fellowship and build community in a fun and relaxing setting while cheering on the Oakland Athletics. Raffles are held in our respective sections. Some 1,600 tickets were sold at our 2023 Nichi Bei Day with the A’s on April 2, 2023, combined with a second event on Sept. 3, 2023, bridging together the Japanese and Japanese American community through the love of sports.
