The National Cherry Blossom Festival and Arbor Day Foundation join forces to plant trees across the country year-round!

With one beautiful Give-A-Tree card from the National Cherry Blossom Festival and Arbor Day Foundation, let someone know a tree has been planted in a National Forest in their honor. Available now on a year-round basis, give the greeting that gives back by growing National Forests and fostering clean air, fresh water, natural beauty, and so many other environmental benefits.

The National Cherry Blossom Festival and Arbor Day Foundation certainly know the importance of trees. In 1912, Washington, DC was given 3,000 cherry blossom trees from Tokyo. It was a gift of peace, international friendship, and natural beauty - a gift that has given back for nearly 100 years. The Festival puts on the nation's greatest springtime celebration in honor of the gift of trees each year, with 16 spectacular days of events and programming surrounding the beauty of nature, arts and culture, and community spirit. Arbor Day Foundation is one of the world's largest nonprofit conservation organizations dedicated to planting trees. The Foundation inspires people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees through a number of tree planting initiatives across the country.

During the Festival, cherry blossom trees are planted within the neighborhoods of Washington, DC. This new partnership with Arbor Day Foundation is the Festival's first step in creating a nation-wide and year-round tree planting initiative, recognizing the impact and importance of planting trees.

It's simple - purchase the greeting card ($5.95) featuring official Festival artwork, for just $5.95. Send a gift this holiday season and beyond that's bigger than all of us - doing one small part to continue the circle of life that is so crucial to our natural environment.
