Stories told by West Los Angeles' Sawtelle Nikkei about living in Westside Japanese community.  Miyoko Watanabe, 1930s Sawtelle Gakuin student and classical Japanese dancer, talks about early dances and later certification and teaching in Japan and New York City before returning to sawtelle.

Mary Ishizuka, Rose Honda, and Ben Toshiyuki talk about growing up in Sawtelle.  Mary is scheduled to talk about unique evacuation experience before going to Manzanar.
