The Midori Kai (a professional Asian Womens group) celebrates their 10th Annual Midori Kai fund raising boutique on September 11, at the Mountain View Buddhist Temple Gymnasium.� To commemorate the anniversary, Midori Kai will give away a FREE Midori Kai recyclable shopping bag to the FIRST 200 guests.

In addition to Asian American themed one of a kind and homemade arts and crafts from vendors from throughout the western United States and Hawaii, the boutique will feature a variety of foods and entertainment during the day.� Performing at 10:30am, will be students from Ukulele Jams group of San Jose.� Students vary from children to adults.� At 2:00pm, the Marimo Kai, a new age koto group will perform contemporary music on traditional instruments.

Proceeds from the boutique benefit are used to support a variety of non profit organizations in the community.� Beneficiaries this year include:� the Ed Iwasaki Scholarship Fund, Yu-Ai Kai Senior Services, the Japanese American Museum-sj, and the Asian Women's Shelter of San Francisco.
