Eileen L. Norris Cinema Theatre
Event Location
Los Angeles, CA 90089
Designed by Albert C. Martin Associates, architects, and erected 1974-76, the Eileen L. Norris Cinema Theatre is a 341-seat motion picture theater equipped with THX sound. A popular venue for film screenings, lectures, and other special events, the theatre also is home to some of the USC School of Cinematic Arts’ largest classes. In the lower level of the Norris complex is the university’s Moving Image Archive, which houses a broad selection of student, documentary, educational and feature films. Refurbished with gifts from Tina and Nancy Sinatra and the Frank Sinatra Family Foundation, the screening room was rededicated on November 18, 2002, as Frank Sinatra Hall, where Sinatra’s extensive memorabilia – including his Emmys, Grammys, Oscars, Golden Globes, platinum and gold records, and many other awards – are on public display.
