2023 Nishi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple Obon Summer Festival Event, Los Angeles, Japantown (Bon Odori, Taiko, Bingo, Games, Japanese Food..) 2 DaysNEW

Nishi Hongwanji Los Angeles Obon Festival Event features Bon Odori (folk dancing), live music and Taiko, flowers, carnival games, martial arts demonstrations, cultural exhibits, and drinks/delicious food, tea ceremony, doll exhibit, bingo. In Little Tokyo, this is one of the largest Obon Festivals in the Los Angeles area.  

There will be food booths (Sunday) and games for the kids.

Stage Entertainment: Taiko, folk dance, music.

Public invited to participate.

Bingo: 7 pm - 8:30 pm

Bon Odori Dancing Start 
Sat & Sun: 6:30 pm

Event Parking 
Street parking is usually going to be a problem, look to use surround parking lots.
If you plan to dance, please go early because it will be difficult to find parking.
