At the Shoseian Teahouse, Annual Holiday Tea & Japan Culture Day will have a full list of Japanese Cultural activities and live performances.
On the veranda, we were treated to the beautiful melodies of the Koto, which is traditional Japanese music plus live Taiko drums. Exciting demonstrations on the garden lawn of Jodo "the art of stick fighting". Inside the Teahouse, guests were able to watch and participate in two different seatings of Chado, the Japanese tea ceremony. In-between tea ceremonies, guests were able to make their own Japanese calligraphy pieces.
