Edo Eco is the second conference in the 2023-24 Center & Clark Core Program, Open Edo: Diverse, Ecological, and Global Perspectives on Japanese Art, 1603-1868. This conference presents papers that will contribute to the emergent discourse of ecological art history by directing attention to the material and ecological horizons of early modern Japanese art.
