Otsukimi (moon-viewing) celebrates the harvest moon in September and October. During Otsukimi, tables are set up facing the eastern horizon so revelers can watch the moon rise, and viewing tables are adorned with Japanese pampas grass and tsukimi-dango (rice dumplings).

Kick off Otsukimi with a moon-viewing party at Shofuso on Friday, September 13. Join us after hours to watch the moon rise over Shofuso while enjoying cocktails, bento boxes, and live musical performances. Festive/cocktail attire requested. Admission is $100 per person ($75 members of the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia) and includes food and drinks.

Beverages sponsored by Owl's Brew Boozy Tea and Botanicals.
