The Buddhist Church of Sacramento will commence its Bon Odori Dance Practice sessions in July, offering participants a chance to learn and perfect traditional Japanese folk dances in preparation for the upcoming Obon Festival. These practice sessions are open to the community and provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with Japanese cultural heritage, enjoy communal exercise, and prepare for the celebratory dances that honor ancestors during Obon.
Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome.
