2016 Holiday Boutique at West LA United Methodist Church (Hundreds of Handmade Art & Craft Items, Jams, Chirashi Sushi, Sweets, etc..) NEW

West LA United Methodist Church will host a Holiday Boutique on Saturday, November 5. The United Methodist Women group have prepared hundreds of handmade art and craft items, including lap quilts, home décor, jewelry, gift tags, silk scarves, candles, soaps, holiday decorations. There will also be an opportunity to win a beautiful handcrafted quilt.

In addition to handcrafted items, guests will be able to purchase delicious homemade freezer strawberry jam, takuan, chirashi sushi, and sweet treats from the Baked Goods Booth.  Guests will also enjoy shopping at the "Country Store" that includes new and gently-used collectables, holiday decorations, housewares, toys, and more.

All proceeds from the Holiday Boutique are donated to mission projects in the United States and abroad.  In the past, funds have supported the transitional housing for domestic violence survivors, community health services, foster care homes, persons who are homeless, hospitals, and nursing homes.  The UMW Holiday Boutique Chair, Pamela Sase states, "The UMW women work for months to prepare beautiful crafts to raise money for life-giving ministries and mission projects."

The Holiday Boutique opens Saturday, November 5 at 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.  West LA UMC is located at 1913 Purdue Avenue in West Los Angeles, between Santa Monica and Olympic Blvds.  Admission is free. Free parking is available at the church and additional free parking is available at the Trident Center, conveniently located at the corner of Purdue and Olympic Blvd.  Everyone is invited to attend.
