NISEI WEEK PARADE INFORMATION

The Nisei Week Grand Parade event in Little Tokyo is one of the highlights of Nisei Week. Plan on waiting along the curb with everyone else, and bring snacks and/or dinner to help pass the time.

This event is usually one of the largest and most exciting events of the year. The streets of Little Tokyo are filled with Japanese dancers, musicians, floats, and more. There are many areas where you can sit and watch the parade. The most popular areas tend to be the most crowded, so keep walking until you find a spot where you can sit and enjoy the parade.

Nisei Week Parade Route
Follow the parade as it travels throughout Downtown Los Angeles in the Little Tokyo district.
1) Starts at 2nd Street to Central Avenue
2) Then west on 2nd Street to
3) North on San Pedro to First Street
4) East on First Street to Central Avenue
5) The parade then turns the corner and travels south on Central Avenue
6) Ends between 1st Street & 2nd Street
