The Neighborhood Church Pasadena is a Unitarian Universalist church located at 301 N Orange Grove Blvd in Pasadena, California. It is a vibrant, modern, inclusive, liberal religious community with deep roots in the city. The church's presence dates back to 1885, when Presbyterian and Congregationalist settlers attended one service together in a chapel on the south side of Colorado Street near Orange Grove Ave.

The church has gone through several reinventions over the years, but it has always been a place where people of all faiths and backgrounds can come together to worship, learn, and grow. In the 1960s, Neighborhood veered away from its Congregationalist leanings as teachings became less literally Christian and more philosophically open. The church's senior minister at the time, Rev. John Baker, paved the way for most of these changes.

Today, Neighborhood Church is a thriving community of over 300 members. The church offers a variety of programs and services for people of all ages, including Sunday services, religious education classes, social justice initiatives, and more. Neighborhood Church is also a popular venue for weddings, concerts, and other events.

The church's physical plant is a beautiful example of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. The sanctuary is a large, airy space with a soaring ceiling and stained glass windows. The church also has a library, a meeting hall, and a garden.

If you are looking for a welcoming, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating religious community, then Neighborhood Church Pasadena is a great place to check out.

Here are some of the things that make Neighborhood Church Pasadena unique:
• It is a non-creedal church, which means that there is no one set of beliefs that all members must adhere to. This makes it a welcoming place for people of all faiths and backgrounds.
• The church is committed to social justice and environmental stewardship. It offers a variety of programs and initiatives that promote these causes.
• The church has a strong focus on music. There is a choir, a handbell choir, and a variety of other musical groups that perform at the church throughout the year.
• The church is located in a beautiful part of Pasadena. The campus is surrounded by trees and gardens, and it is just a short walk from the Rose Bowl and the Norton Simon Museum.
