2023 SFC Fall Festival Event (Japanese Bon Odori Dances, Origami, Crafts, Taiko, Martial Arts..)NEW

JSFC Fall Festival. Our annual Fall Festival is coming to Jesup Green in Westport, CT. We will have taiko drums, martial arts demos, brief folktale plays, Bon dancing, and more!    It will be an ALL OUTDOOR EVENT on Jesup Green, outside the Westport Library, 20 Jesup Road, Westport, CT 06880, from 1:00 pm to 4 pm.

The Japanese story the Bamboo Princess, a popular folktale, will be narrated and performed with original props made of twisted balloons. Another brief play Obon season & the Water Lantern Festival will be done in a similar manner.
