Join us for this year's Nisei Week Public Dance Practices, where the community gathers to learn and rehearse both traditional and new festival dances. The first two sessions will be 100% dedicated to parade routines, followed by practices that include both parade and street ondo dances.

A special optional session will be available for groups to prepare independently, including a quick run-through with the Nisei Week Community Group and more focus on street ondo.

Practice Schedule
• Tuesday - July 15 - Parade dances only
• Thursday - July 17 - Parade dances only (location may change)
• Tuesday - July 22 - Parade & Street Ondo
• Thursday - July 24 - Parade & Street Ondo
• Tuesday - July 29 - Bonus Practice (Optional)


Note: July 17th: Location TBD - possible "schedule conflict" at JACCC on this date, Alternate location for this practice will be Centenary UMC located at 300 S. Central Ave. LA 90013 if JACCC is not available.
