Part of the City of San Fernando's Chile Festival. Discover the beauty and grace of Japanese festival dancing with San Fernando Valley native Christine Inouye. Seize the moment and try your hand at these celebratory bon dances set to ondo music by Japanese folk fusion ensemble Minyo Station.

Japanese Bon festivals are similar to Dio deLos Muertos in which we celebrate and remember the lives of those who have passed on. We dance for Joy.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. JAM Sessions are participatory and centered around movement and music. All JAMS are FREE, and all ages and skill levels are welcome.

Complimentary fans provided by the Ford Theater Foundation for those who participate.

Hope to see you there!
