Join us at the Japanese Garden in Van Nuys for a day of fun devoted to wish-making. Tanabata celebrates the meeting of two heavenly lovers, Orihime and Hikoboshi, who only come together once a year and whose meeting grants earthly wishes. Enjoy a host of activities -- with wish-themed art projects -- and enjoy the beauty of a traditional Japanese Garden. Experience ancient Japanese stories brought to life in the kamishibai style, and enjoy sweet snacks and tea in the Tea House!
