The acclaimed Taiko Project is an ensemble of premiere taiko drummers dedicated to sharing their Japanese American culture and heritage with the community from TV appearances to school performances. Their performance, entitled, "Big Rhythms, Big Drums," is an explosive drumming demonstration that weaves modern and traditional taiko together to present a diverse repertoire of show-stopping songs, making it a memorable experience for audiences of all ages. Free validated parking if you park in the Paragon Parking lot just south of the Little Tokyo Branch Library. Validate at the Library Information Desk. There are two performances: Friday, July 18 from 1:00-3:30 pm and Saturday, July 19 from 2:30-5:00 pm. Both are FREE. Limited to the first 70 people per performance.
