The acclaimed Taiko Project is an ensemble of premiere taiko drummers dedicated to sharing their Japanese American culture and heritage with the community from TV appearances to school performances.ï¿½ Their performance, entitled, "Big Rhythms, Big Drums," is an explosive drumming demonstration that weaves modern and traditional taiko together to present a diverse repertoire of show-stopping songs, making it a memorable experience for audiences of all ages. ï¿½Free validated parking if you park in the Paragon Parking lot just south of the Little Tokyo Branch Library. ï¿½Validate at the Library Information Desk. ï¿½There are two performances: Friday, July 18 from 1:00-3:30 pm and Saturday, July 19 from 2:30-5:00 pm. ï¿½Both are FREE. ï¿½Limited to the first 70 people per performance.
