Asian Girl's Private Basketball Clinic - LA Sparks 5/30/14NEW

Asian basketball players have traditionally been overlooked by many college programs. There is a need to showcase top Asian prep stars to give them better opportunities to obtain athletic scholarships to colleges throughout the state.

On Friday, May 30th, 2014 there will be a one day private clinic from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at LA Southwest college. This clinic is open to the top 60 High School and College girl players in the State.

Players must submit an application no later than 5/26/14 to be considered. Accepted players will also receive a $30 voucher for a LA Sparks game.

This clinic will be run by local coaches and 3 Professional LA Sparks players including Nneka Ogwumike & Lindsey Harding. Over a dozen college coaches will be in attendance.

Magic Johnson recently purchased the team and would like to see players from the Asian community compete at the highest levels.
