Centenary's Arigato Bazaar is just around the corner & we are hopeful that everyone will support this year's annual bazaar by attending on Saturday May 3rd from 10am to 6pm.

The success of the bazaar depends on "extended" family & friends sharing in the festival atmosphere we create at the Arigato Bazaar so please ext...end our invitation to others. Some attend the bazaar as a homecoming, some as a community gathering & some for the cultural experience. All come for the fun, delicious food, extraordinary activities & the great entertainment.

Entertainment for children will feature a FREE craft tent as well as FREE interactive games for all ages. For adults we will have a PREMIER Silent Auction with items that will suit everyone's tastes & pocket books. Members of the Disney Alumni Band will entertain us with music & conduct a Disney trivia contest, 2 tickets to Disneyland is the Grand Prize. Growing in popularity & attendance this is the 3rd year we will incorporate public ODORI/ONDO dancing into the bazaar. At 4pm Saturday May 3rd (just after our traditional Taiko Drum performance) we are hoping for 200+ odori/ondo dancers and just as many spectators witness the spirit & culture of the community coming together to share in fun & fellowship.

The only way we will reach this level of attendance is if we get the word out. Spread the word, "public festival ODORI/ONDO dancing will start at 4pm under our new 15 foot YAGURA towering over the dance circle on Saturday May 3rd." A new element we are adding this year is an "Early Bird" Opportunity Drawing with a $500.00 cash prize. Raffle prizes will be given out throughout the day and we will conclude the bazaar with the "Grand Prize" Opportunity Drawing, a $1,000 cash prize. If you have family or friends who may be interested in purchasing tickets or if you need additional tickets for yourself please contact the church office at (213) 617-9097 or email to [email protected]. See everyone on Saturday May 3rd in Little Tokyo, attend in the spirit of culture & community while enjoying the fun & fellowship at Centenary's Arigato Bazaar.
