The Torrance Cultural Arts Center is proud to present recording artist, Wendy Katagi in concert with other special guests on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 3:00 and Monday, December 9, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.� The "Spirit of Christmas" concerts will be held at the Nakano Theatre, Torrance Cultural Arts Center.� Tickets are $35 for adults (including Wendy's new "Spirit of Christmas" CD, 2013) and $15 for students. Tickets are available at the Box Office or at the door, the day of the concert.� Christmas cookies and beverages are included.

Wendy Katagi is an inspirational singer whose beautiful soprano voice can span intimate to powerful musical heights with great ease.� You'll want to sing with her as she encourages audience participation at concerts-creating exciting and memorable moments for all ages.

Wendy has received tremendous response to her first album, "Rise in Hope Again" (2011) featuring a number of Christmas favorites-"Silent Night", "White Christmas", and "The Christmas Song", along with some original songs and cover songs-"Over the Rainbow", "Smile", and "When You Wish Upon a Star". �Wendy's new "Spirit of Christmas" album features new Christmas songs written by Wendy along with beautiful arrangements of "O Holy Night", "What Child is This", "My Favorite Things", and "Jesus King of Angels".� Both albums were produced and arranged by Grammy Nominated Tom Zink at Ming Dynasty Studios, Long Beach, California.

"Christmas is my favorite time of year.� I can't wait to share this music with friends, family, and the greater South Bay community this Christmas!� We are going to have a great evening of music!!" says Wendy.

Joining Wendy at the Christmas Concert will be the wonderful Tom Zink, Grammy nominated jazz pianist, Scott Kushigemachi on acoustic guitar, and other guest artists to be announced.� Original songs and arrangements will lift your spirits and focus your hearts on the true meaning of Christmas.�
